			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When someone has a problem with sleeping, it is almost always an issue of not <a target='_blank' href="http://fitnfiddle.com/the-importance-of-getting-enough-sleep-at-night/">getting enough sleep</a>. This isn&#8217;t the only problem though that people have trouble with involving sleep. While oversleeping is much less common, it can be equally dangerous to someone&#8217;s health.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s not always easy to pin down one single reason that leads to oversleeping. Most often it is a result of abuse or misuse of external substances like alcohol or drugs. These types of substances will decrease the quality of a person&#8217;s sleep by damaging their normal pattern.</p>
<p>Common reasons for getting too much sleep also include a long list of sleeping disorders that can act similarly to external influences. Disorders behave in a very similar fashion by reducing the quality of a person&#8217;s sleep.</p>
<p>Getting too much sleep may not seem like a big problem, but it actually carries a lot of health risks with it. The biggest problem with getting too much sleep is that it reduces the amount of activity that you get. Spending more than ten hours a day sleeping will significantly decrease the chance that you have time to go out and get a good amount of exercise.</p>
<p>Depression is a natural side effect of sleeping too much because there is simply not enough time for fun and social activities. Poor health and lowered sleep quality is almost always associated with oversleeping and can mean that you will still feel tired no matter how much time you spend sleeping. This problem can be extremely frustrating and will only make symptoms of depression worse over time.</p>
<p>The best way to address oversleeping is to eliminate any external factors that may be contributing to poor quality of sleep. If you&#8217;ve already taken care of these things, it&#8217;s time to consider professional help to identify a sleeping disorder. Sleeping for more than ten hours a day is not normal and should not be tolerated by anyone.</p>
